since ive submited my tax return form at mmabatho office and i was chosen for an audit they said it would take 21 working days to get my refund but now its taking forever

Unfortunately, we are seeing many cases where the audit process is taking much longer. If you have outstanding tax returns from prior years this can delay things further too.
You can call SARS on 0800 007 277 to follow up the reasons for the delay.
