The refund was reversed with the the following most likely reasons: - There is a special stopper on your account; and/or - You have two valid bank accounts reflecting on your registered details. You will need to request an online SARS appointment to update your details and request the special stopper to remove from your account to escalate the refund pay out. |

TaxTim says: 19 November 2021 at 12:52 Normally, SARS requires the following documents for this update/request: - Certified copy of ID - Stamped bank statement, not older than 3 months - Proof of address, not older than 3 months - Photo of you holding up your ID document and a page which states your request and the case number The case number will be provided to you once you have requested the appointment. Thereafter, you will need to upload the document to SARS' online query system. It is best to upload the documents as a PDF document and not in other formats. |
