Tubo says: 16 October 2015 at 14:34 I did my tax return via SARS eFilling on Monday the 12th of October and called the call centre to ask if I was required to submit any documentation which they said no. When I called again on Thursday I was told that the amount due to me has been released and will be in my account on Friday. On the same day (Thursday) I received a msg saying that they want supporting documents. My question how possible is this as the money was going to be released to it now being reversed, and how long should I wait for my refund? |
TaxTim says: 16 October 2015 at 15:11 Unfortunately, you will need to submit supporting documents before your refund will be released. The verification of your documents can take up to 30 days. Please read our blog on Why haven't I received my tax refund yet? You can always call SARS on 0800 007 277 to find out how far they are in the process. |
