TaxTim says: 22 July 2013 at 13:28 The documents that you submit along with your IRP5 (not RIP5 :) for completing your income tax return depend on your individual profile and what information you have entered into your return. Basically you need to provide all the documents that show income earned, tax paid or reasons why tax shouldn't be paid. Ideally if you are entering data into your tax return then any documents that show that data should be submitted too. A list of some documents that may apply to you would be: - IRP5(s) from your employer for salary - IT3b(s) from a bank for interest earned - Medical aid certificate(s) / other medical costs you paid out of your own pocket - Car logbook records - Certificates received from a charity / PBO - IT3c(s) from a bank for investment disposal |
