I personally paid money into a retirement annuity fund, and not via my employer - where do put this in my tax return please?

You would add it in the Retirement section by answering Yes to this question:""Did you pay into a Retirement Annuity Fund on your own or via your employer? Not sure? If you have an IRP5 showing source code 4006 click Yes...." and then entering the amount that is reflected on the tax certificate you received.
