What is the cut-off date for submitting a tax return this year? I am struggling to get a hold of my IRP5 from my previous employer and I am therefore concerned that I will miss the submissions cut off date.

Due to the Covid-19 virus the tax season only opens 1 September 2020. Therefore the 2020 tax returns can only be submitted then. The deadline to file a tax return will be 16 November 2020.
Once you have received your IRP5 you may complete your tax return on our system, it will be kept on our archive until tax season opens. We will then be able to submit the tax return for you. Your tax return will then be taken out of archive, reviewed by a tax practitioner and then either be submitted or you will be contacted if further details are required. To get your IRP5 please refer to our blog on FAQs on IRP5s
