I'm a registered company, but not VAT registered. We do not charge VAT on our second hand goods. Should we register for VAT? Also, should we complete a tax return, would we be able to do by ourselves?

Yes, you're able to submit your own tax return via our system, kindly Register for TaxTimjust ensure that you have records of your income and expenses for this two years.
If your turnover is under R1 million you don't have to register for VAT.
