Is there any tax return funds available for me?

You would need to complete and submit a tax return in order to be due a refund. To being this process Register for TaxTim and answer the questions in order to complete a return. Only do this if you have earned income within this tax year (1 March 2012 to 28 February 2013).

You can make use of our Tax refund calculator to give you an idea of whether you are due a refund or not.

If you previously contributed towards UIF on your payslip then you can claim unemployment benefits by following the instructions here: http://www.labour.gov.za/DOL/legislation/acts/how-tos/unemployment-insurance-fund-uif/how-to-claim-uif-unemployment-benefits
