One time pin (OTP) is sent to the wrong cell number and email

I am trying to authorise TaxTim to share access to my SARS profile. When I click on the Manage Tax Types request, the one time pin is sent to the incorrect cell number. What can I do?

You will need to update your Security Contact Details for the OTP. Please do the following:

1. Log into your SARS eFiling tax profile.
2. Click on "My Profile" on the left blue menu,
3. Click on "Profile and Preference Setup" on the left blue menu,
4. Update your contact details under the "Security Contact Details" and click on "Update and Save"

Once the above is done, please reattempt to authorise the transfer (Manage Tax Types Request ).

If that still does not work, you could update your email address and then authorise it by sending the OTP to your email.

Unfortunately, if that fails, you will need to make a SARS appointment to update your details in full.
