I have now arranged a new medical aid for him and I personally contribute with my after tax income . How do I claim this expenses as he is not working? |

Just complete the medical aid section in your tax return with details from the Medical Aid Tax Certificate and include him as a dependent. If SARS does request supporting documentation, you need to be able to justify that he is a dependent and you therefore pay his medical aid on his behalf. |
