I am to receive foreign inheritance. How much can I bring in? What taxes are applicable? Do I have to furnish proof of where the money comes from?

Foreign Inheritances are not taxable, you would need to disclose this on your tax return however. There is no limit on how much you can bring in, you would need to show the Reserve Bank the origin of the money - so the distribution from the attorney or similar.
