Kelwyn says: 7 August 2015 at 10:54 Hi there, my wife is due a refund, after following up with SARS they said she needs to submit a return for 2009. The problem as you advised in your article (https://www. Taxtim. Com/za/blog/sars-isnt-paying-my-refund-they-want-my-old-returns) is that there is zero chance of acquiring those old documents now. Is her only option a police affadavit? How does she submit a return on eFiling, when there is no record of it on there? (This is what SARS said she must do. . . ) Can you submit a nil return for older years, even if she obviously was employed but there is tax documentation? In summary, please advise what the best way forward is for us to resolve this issue as easily and speedily as possible. Thanks |
