Hi Tim,

Firstly, I absolutely LOVE your website - it's put such a complicated system into an easy to understand format. Life saver tendencies :D!

I'm doing my own taxes (for the first time) via SARS eFiling and thanks to you the process has been rather easy. But I just need to double check on the following:

-I submitted supporting documentation. How long do I have to wait to receive my refund? I'm not being audited.
-Account statement shows a negative account balance (YAY) but what does 'aging transaction' mean?

Thanks again for your help!

Thank you so much for the positive feedback!

If you received a letter requesting supporting documentation, then it can take up to 30 working days before SARS sends you a "Completion" letter and issues you with a revised assessment if applicable.

Once you receive a Completion Letter and your assessment (ITA34) still reflects a negative balance, then you should receive your refund in a few days.
