Sequestration - how to submit details to two returns

I was sequestrated in June 2014 and applied for a new tax reference. How do I submit my medical aid and RA contributions as I have to tax returns to complete:

Supply the same information on both tax returns and SARS figures out the rest?
Or do I have to request new tax certificates and have the institutions split the contributions for each of the tax references / periods?

You would complete these figures on the current tax return with the new number as they are deductions not related to your sequestration or did SARS request you to include these figures in the old tax return?

I did not receive a direct request. I'm under the impression that I must still include the contributions for the period Mar 2014 - Jun 2014. But not sure if I need to get a new tax certificate with the contributions for that period or just complete it for the whole year?

Or do I omit the medical aid and RA contributions on the tax return for the old tax number and only provide it on the tax return for the new number?

When you were sequestrated did SARS not ask you to complete a tax return at that time with the details to date? If that is the case then yes you would have to receive new certificates with only the information for the non-sequestrated period. When you log onto SARS eFiling, the IRP5 that is preloaded, does this contain the full 12 months information?

Nope, they did not and that seems to be the problem. I was only requested by the curator to get a new tax ref. I'll request new certificates, thanks.

The IRP5 is also incorrect - busy resolving that with my employer (wrong dates etc)
