Kiewiet says: 5 May 2016 at 19:00 SARS has still not paid me my credit since 2013 and also not the credit built up for the following years. They do add interest to the outstanding balance but do not give any reasons why they do not pay out the credit despite all our requests. What could be the reason for this and what other avenues can we try to expedite this problem? |
TaxTim says: 6 May 2016 at 12:58 The reason could be that all your tax returns have not been submitted or that your banking details have not been updated, have you called the call centre on 0800 00 7277 to find out what the delay is due to? |
Kiewiet says: 6 May 2016 at 15:17 A credit has been paid into my bank account in Nov 2013 but SARS then put a stop on the payment. All subsequent tax returns have been submitted but SARS has not paid out any credits. The company which handles my tax has been in contact with them regularly via phone and email and the only response we get is that they are working on it and will reply in 21 days which they never do. |
