Lisa says: 16 July 2015 at 10:24 Thanks for an awesome blog!!!!! Its the first time that I submitted for a tax return. I completed it a few days ago for the last 5 yrs. It showed that a refund is due for 2013 and 2014, but for 2014 they want supporting docs. Since I have no medical aid, travel allowance etc I submitted my IRP5's - is this all I need to submit and what are the chances of the refund amount changing etc? |
TaxTim says: 16 July 2015 at 11:06 Yes, if you are only including an IRP5 as the information in your tax return then this is fine. Did you input any other information? |
Lisa says: 16 July 2015 at 11:10 No I haven't entered or changed any information, I just submitted |
TaxTim says: 16 July 2015 at 11:11 Then that's fine - everything is in order :) |
Lisa says: 28 July 2015 at 13:28 Hi Tim, I sent through my docs and got a letter today, it says its a completion letter and that no adjustment has been made. What happens from here, how long more must I wait for my refund? |
Lisa says: 28 July 2015 at 13:31 I also called their call center now. The consultant says the refund is just sitting there, but no date is there for a release of payment. He says the audit is complete, so I must just wait. |
TaxTim says: 29 July 2015 at 8:33 It should take about 5 days from now, let us know if you have not received anything by Monday! |
