Jaci says: 17 January 2014 at 15:09 Thank you sp much for the reply Tim. I have unfortunately submitted the forms already But, I have a new question now... I was working on my ipad while "roaming" on the sars website, when I accidentally pressed the "request correction" button (Although, that is what I think it said). There is now 2 returns showing on my profile One that I originally submitted and another that says "saved". Does this mean that must now resubmit my info and file a "new" correct return? The document I wanted to remove was a logsheet as my logsheet was insufficient Thanks for your time and help. This blog is great! !! |
TaxTim says: 17 January 2014 at 15:20 Yes unfortunately it does mean you would need to resubmit your return, just make sure that everything is exactly the same. By requesting a correction now, a new "documents for review" will open up, so you can submit the correct document. |
Jaci says: 17 January 2014 at 15:30 I would like to NOT claim travel expense anymore as, my log sheet is insufficient. That would then be the only difference on the return. Would that be OK? |
TaxTim says: 17 January 2014 at 15:33 Yes, you can just remove it from the new return and submit without it. |
Jaci says: 17 January 2014 at 15:53 Thank you so much. This website is absolutely fantastic. You are very helpfull and your responses are quick and easy to understand. Thanks for helping me out. I will definitely use this site in future rather than contacting SARS themselves. Thanks again!! |
