TaxTim says: 31 July 2015 at 16:10 Provident Fund deductions unfortunately are not tax deductible for the 2015 year and so would not have reduced your tax payment. I see you earn commission, did you have a tax directive? |
Adriaan says: 31 July 2015 at 16:41 No I don't have a tax directive, So even though on my ITA34 it shows R0.00 amount assesed by the Provident Fund, it won't change anything? Sorry if I sound dumb. But im new to tax |
TaxTim says: 31 July 2015 at 20:38 Unfortunately not, provident fund deductions will only become tax deductible for all years after 1 March 2016 which will then lead to a possible refund. Only deductions to pension funds and retirement annuity fund are deductible. |
