Payment after completion letter from SARS

I submitted my tax return on 05/08/2015. I was then asked to submit supporting documents which I did on 14/08/2015. Today 01/09/2015 I received a completion letter stating that nothing has changed on my original assessment. Could you please advise more or less how long it may take for my refund to be paid?

You should receive your refund in a couple of days.

If you don't however, you could call SARS on 0800 007 277 to find out the reason for the delay. It might be that you have outstanding Tax Returns from prior years that need to be filed, or that you need to update your banking details with SARS (if this is the case though, you would have received a letter requesting certain documents to be submitted to SARS).
