I'm an SA citizen who is currently based in New Zealand for a couple of years. I'm going to SA for a holiday and have sent money to one of my bank accounts to use as spending. The money has been sent electronically and my reason was a gift to myself. Will I be paying tax on this amount in SA?

Provided that money was no earned in SA or you have already paid tax on it then it will be ok to spend it in SA without paying more tax.
