Leave pay

I work as an sales rep. I don't know how to call this. At my previous employer I got a (leave pay bonus) if I took leave. They explained it to me at the time that because I work for commission that I was entitled to the (bonus) as if I made a sale in that month so they paid me this (leave pay)

My new company does not know what I'm talking about and my previous employer has closed down.

Do you maybe know what I'm talking about?

If you have a basic and are paid a set monthly salary as well as commission then your leave pay will be calculated as normal as an employee. I understand what happened before, but this does not relate to a salaried employee. In the end though, it has the same affect.
