If I owe SARS money, is it possible to pay SARS back in installments over time?

Is it possible for me to pay SARS half the amount I owe for two months, as I cannot afford the full amount in one payment?

SARS does offer the ability for you to pay them in installments. You would need to speak to someone at SARS via their call centre on 0800 00 7277 (0800 00 SARS) to make the arrangements. If you can't get anywhere with the call centre then you would need to go into your nearest SARS branch unfortunately.

If you pay today and then in 29 days time again you should avoid penalties and interest as you do have some time to pay what you owe.
