Are the slips for amounts that are not stated on the medical certificate and has SARS asked you for these supporting documents?

Yes they ask supporting documents but I have only my medical certificate what will happen?

Unfortunately they will disallow the extra medical claim.

Will they penalise me in a way or will they just calculate it from there?

No, just deny the deduction. If they do penalise you please let us know.

Thanks for responding. Must I just submit the medical certificate? Is there no way I can correctt the submission and send it again?

You can, you can click - "request correction" and submit the corrected return. You will find this under the Return you have submitted on the eFiling working page.
