If you earn a salary from an employer, then you will pay PAYE as well.

If you are a director of a private company (pty) the company is deemed to be the "employer" and you are deemed to be an "employee". Any drawings you make from the company is in fact "salary" and would be subject to monthly PAYE. Your company should be registered for PAYE and UIF and this should be deducted from your salary.
