I have a small business how do I start to be a tax compliant for my business?

Is the tuckshop registered as a separate business or do you run it in your own name?

I run my tuck shop in my own name as it is registered on my name.

You would then either continue doing it this way and paying the taxes in your personal name or you could register the company through CIPC - www.cipc.co.za and then register the company for tax as a small business which allows you to have some special tax treatments.
