How much tax do I have to pay if I earn R6500 per month?

Hi Tim, I'm 26 years old and I work as assistant manager at restaurant. I'm aware that I pay tax but I'm not sure how much tax do I have to pay every month. How much tax you should pay if you earn R6500 p/m?

On R6 500 per month your take home after tax should be:

Take home pay = R 6500 - R 216.66 - R 65
Take home pay = R 6218.34

The R216.66 is the PAYE per month and the R65 the UIF.
Both of these are taken off your pay slip automatically by your employer, you don't have to manually pay this to SARS as an employee.
