How long does it take for a profile to be active and how will I know if its active

I logged in to eFiling but I cant view my history... all I get is ''SARS is busy verifying your registration. Please allow 24 hours for verification to complete before you continue."

SARS usually handles these cases within 24HRS, check tomorrow and it should be ready to complete a return as well as all the other tools.
