Bella says: 21 July 2015 at 11:32 Its just that I paid tax in the past. Last I remember was in 2007. I've never applied for a rebate. The other jobs I had after that were below the tax threshold so my employee didn't charge me tax. Basically I would like for somebody to look into my profile to see if I have a rebate due to me. How do I go about doing this? |
TaxTim says: 21 July 2015 at 14:05 Have you filed a tax return before? |
Bella says: 21 July 2015 at 14:50 No I haven't filed for a tax return before. I just received my normal IRP5's which I now don't have! I received them during the periods 2003-2007 while I was in the employ of the Department of Justice. Hope this helps. I also just need to know if I can check if I could be eligible for a rebate as I am now unemployed. |
TaxTim says: 21 July 2015 at 17:05 You have to file a tax return to see if you are due a refund from SARS. You need to ask your previous employer for a copy of you IRP5 in order to prepare your old tax returns. |
