Foreign subsistence allowance code



What is the difference between tax codes 3714 and 3716 for allowances. Is it true that code 3714 has now replaced code 3716 since 2010, for foreign subsistence allowance?

3714 is the code that is for foreign subsistence allowance that is below the taxable daily amounts.

3705/3755, 3709/3759 and 3716/3766 where the old codes used.
