Antony says: 10 November 2015 at 10:44 Have submitted my two Provisional Tax tax returns for this year already, and still need to submit my ITR12. When is that due? It's the first time I'm doing it myself after getting rid of my accountant. Also if I decided to get TaxTim to do it, what all would I need in terms of documentation, and how simple is the process through your guys? |
TaxTim says: 10 November 2015 at 15:34 You do need to file a final tax return, this is always true regardless of being a provisional taxpayer or not, however your payments will count towards the overall tax owing or refunded to you. Using TaxTim will only require documents if you are audited by SARS, otherwise it is a simple online process. |
TaxTim says: 10 November 2015 at 22:49 The due date is 31 January 2016 as a provisional taxpayer. Essentially the system works that you have a chat with Tim who asks you simple questions, ensuring that all sections of the tax return are covered so that nothing is left out and there can be no doubt once the tax return is completed. At the end of the process, we complete your tax return for based on your answers. We then ask some questions about bank details and address etc which we require to request a transfer of your SARS eFiling account to ours and then we file automatically for you. |

TaxTim says: 12 November 2015 at 7:40 Yes you can, it is always best to do so then it is complete. Please Register for TaxTim and let us help you complete and submit your tax return to SARS. |
