Thibos says: 29 May 2015 at 20:43 Good day , I'm working for a private sector, my problem is that we're never been given IRP5 since I started working. I'm being told that ill only get it when I Quite my Job. What must I do to get my IRP5 without losing my job ? |
TaxTim says: 31 May 2015 at 22:19 That is against tax law as each employer needs to provide an IRP5 each year so you can use to file your tax return. How much do you earn each month? |
Thibos says: 2 June 2015 at 20:37 My salary is not stable, it's range from R1,000 - R1,300 and it's paid after every 2weeks, And it has been taxed for et least 3years, and I've never received an IRP 5, I've went to SARS and some officials told me I need to be fired and have valid papers that will act as Proof. How can I go about it without being fired from my current employer ? |
TaxTim says: 3 June 2015 at 7:01 The only way to then prove to SARS is to take your payslips, bank statements and employment contract to show how much you are paid, how much was paid to you and therefore the tax being the difference. However if you are earning under R70 700 for the whole year then you actually do not need to submit a return to SARS because you should not have been paying tax. |
