Ilana says: 22 October 2015 at 7:48 My question is whether you need to submit a tax return if you are not permanently employed and don't have an employment contract and your income is less than R300 000 per year but more than R100 000? If you do not have to submit a tax return do you then have to pay tax? |
TaxTim says: 22 October 2015 at 15:49 The tax threshhold is currently R73,650 per annum so if you earn more than this amount per year you would need to pay tax. If you are earning above the threshold, it is advisable to file a Tax Return.
