However May is the month that IRP5s are generally handed to employees and uploaded to the SARS system, so maybe have a word with your HR manager to determine when yours is coming. I would advise that you start the TaxTim process now and complete as many questions as you can. You might discover that there are more sections to complete, such as Medical or Retirement. You might also discover some tax deductions that you didn't know you qualified for. You can always change your answers if you make a mistake on the system. Since tax season only opens in July, you won't be able to submit your 2015 tax return just yet, but you can get started. Hope to see you soon! |
