Nathan says: 22 July 2015 at 17:43 I worked for different companies within the tax year. With one of them, I received no medical aid and so I did my own private medical aid. With the other, medical aid forms part of the company benefits and appears on my payslip. How does TaxTim allow me to enter both of these? The options only seem to allow for 1 or the other throughout the tax year. |
TaxTim says: 23 July 2015 at 7:22 The amount contributed as part of your employment will go under the question related to source code 4005 and then there is another question after that which asks if you spent any money personally for medical aid which asks :"Did you also contribute to a medical aid directly out of your bank account?" this is where you will complete the personal amount spent. |

TaxTim says: 25 July 2015 at 14:37 As you go through the medical section you will be asked questions about the part contributed by the employer and then the part contributed personally by you. You will complete the questions as they are asked. |
