We have not yet registered any of my details and I've earned around R 18 000 in commission this month. I would like to know what percentage should they have deducted from my earnings? Is it 18% throughout? I would also like to register under code 3606 as I have various expenses that I need to incur in order to conclude a sale and would like to deduct some of these expenses. Do I claim it back or can it be deducted before hand? How will I know if my paye deductions have been paid over to Sars and is there a way of tracking this on a monthly basis? |
TaxTim says: 4 May 2015 at 13:09 You need to apply for a tax directive through SARS which then instructs the company to deduct a fixed percentage which could be as little as 18% or up to 41% even. The expenses will be deducted at year end when you file your return. The PAYE should be paid over to SARS as this is required by law, but unfortunately there is no way to track this. |
