Can l get a tax clearance certificate if l do not have a tax reference number?

I need a tax clearance certificate but l do not have a tax reference number. The form says I should have a tax reference number, can I still get a tax clearance certificate?

No, you need to have registered and received a tax reference number before applying for a Tax Clearance Certificate - you can Obtain a tax number by clicking the link provided and following the instructions there.
