TaxTim says: 29 August 2013 at 16:46 You need to get a letter from your employer stating how many days you were out of the country for work purposes and what income you earned and the related PAYE. You will submit this to SARS when filing your return along with copies of your passport. (if you are audited) take the amount that you see as income on this letter and insert it into the block for s(10)(1)(o)ii under the 'other deductions' page of the return. Request the correction first so that SARS doesn't process the other return, while you await the letter. |
