You can claim the km as you are not a salaried employee.

I have calculated that I traveled 1961km and that my car is worth less than R80000. Therefore my deduction should be 25946 92.3*1964/100 27.6*1964/100 = 28297.96

Is this correct?

Would SARS want any other proof besides my log book?

You can make use of our Travel Allowance calculator to get the workings. However it would be:

25946/1961 =

92.3c 27.6c =

Then you take that answer and multiply it by the percentage of business travel over total travel and that would be your claim.
