I am an intern and I earn R5000 per month. Do I need to pay tax? I also once registered under SARS when I was a student tutor in 2012 when I was also a student. But I didn't continue with paying tax? Should I pay tax?

You should not be paying tax on that amount as you fall below the tax threshold. However you should still be receiving an IRP5 from your employer which will be on your SARS eFiling profile as well. You should file that tax return so you are up to date and compliant with SARS.
