Annuity Fund contributions claim

When you have an Annuity (Retirement Fund), where does this fall regarding claiming from SARS?
This is a fund that we pay ourselves as my husbands employers does not have a retirement fund / plan we can use.

You would claim this as a deduction under the Retirement Section of your ITR12 tax return. Please Register for TaxTim and let us complete and submit your tax return to SARS correctly with all the deductions.
