The assessment came up on the site. But I still have not received a sms or email.

For the tax year 2014... how long does SARS take to pay out... There is no audit or anything flagged. Just want a rough idea as to when to expect the money.

Travel allowance and business kms

I get R36000 travel allowance per year. My business mileage is just over 40000 kms.
When I do the calculation on efiling my return is the same when I put down 40000 business kms as it is when I put down 20000 business kms.
Is this correct?
Have I hit my 'threshold' ?

My daughter is a single mother of one biological son who is 4. Does not receive maintenance from the father. She is also in the process of adopting an abandoned baby that she got in July 13. She has a court document in the meantime that she is a "safe house" for the baby and could not get a grant because it was not a fostered baby. She is covering all the expenses herself. Would just like to know. I have done my tax return for 2014, and have queried the SARS Status on my eFiling which is now: " Return - Data Submitted To ITS". My assessment has been done, and I have received a statement of account as well. The statement reflects that there is a refund due to me. My question: How long does it take for SARS to process my refund, and how long do I have to wait for the amount to be paid into my account?

I have a retirement annuity with my company through NMG. They pay half, I pay half. But now I don't see anything under Code 4006 on my IRP5? I have my details on my Retirement Benefits, should this be on the Tax Return? If so, how do I get it on the IRP5/ Return's Page on SARS eFiling?

I have been working for various companies, earning not very much. in the past 1 year and 6 months I worked for a company where for the first time got an IRP5.. and money was being deducted from my commission. I don't know much about tax, and I never claimed. no medical aid..

I believe that UK State Pension is not taxable income in South Africa. Is that true? In particular, is it necessary to mention it at all when doing SARS eFiling?
