I'm referring to your post on the 6th of August regarding the delay in the refunds. I was selected for audit/verification and submitted supporting docs on the 2nd of July. The 3rd I received a letter of completion that stated that no adjustments will be made and that the verification has been completed. After a week I phoned in to enquire about the refund and the call centre told me their is a special stopper on my account and that they will have to escalate the call to get the stopper removed. ...

My original tax assessment was submitted on 29 July. SARS requested for supporting documentation and this was uploaded through eFiling on 30 July. On 6 August a document named "Statement of Account: Assessed Tax" was uploaded to my eFiling profile, but I have not received any notification or payment from SARS. Does the Statement of Account mean that the process is now complete? I have always received my refund within a matter of days, but it is now 12 days later and I haven't heard anything from...
