Am I a Personal Service Provider for Tax purposes?



I earn R700,000 in my personal capacity at client A and 300,000 through my CC at client B.
I render the services for my CC personally and more than 80 percent of the fees received by the CC are received by one client. Would my CC be regarded as a personal service provider even though I earn 700,000 separately in my personal capacity?

Medical aid 3810 fringe benefit tax



I have submitted my return for 2013, but under source code 3810,I have employer tax contributions on my behalf,where they are paying half. I pay the other half which I claim as a deduction.

Everywhere I can find a formula on how to calculate the 2013 medical deduction code 4008, but nowhere one for 2012 and 2011. Your example for the 2013 helped a lot, thanks for that. Can you maybe also give one for the 2011/12 please.

Can an employer who is not giving you benefits allowed to break down your salary, reducing basic sal



My. Basic salary is R33943.06
My employer break it down as my basic salary is R28169.48 medical aid R3698.00 , vitality R39.00, provident fund R2063.58 rate per hour R192.20 then deduction is tax R6203.69 and UIFR148.72
Is this legal ? My employer does not give me any benefits from all the deductions.

Our company has to make improvements to our offices that we lease. I know we should account for these as leasehold improvements and amortize it over the lease period, but will this amortization be a tax deductible expense?
