Hi Tim

I have submitted 3 tax returns this tax season for assessment (2010, 2011 and 2015). SARS had selected me for verification for the 2010 and 2011 assessment years and I have consequently submitted the required documents for review via SARS eFiling.

SARS has issued correspondence for the 2010 assessment year saying "We refer to the verification of your assessment for the 2010 tax period. Please note that no adjustment has been made to this assessment". They also issued an additional assessment (ITA34) for the 2011 assessment year and the initial amount due to me has not changed. ...

Hi Tim, I am trying to submit my IRP5 but my employer added my Medical Gap Cover to my Source Code 4005. According to my IRP5 under code 4005: R33672, but according to my statement from my medical aid it is R26606. Must I leave it as is? They contribute only a portion and my amounts under 3810 & 4474 are R26172. What must I do?

IT12 was submitted to SARS 14th July via SARS eFiling, and was immediately selected for verification or audit, so the documents were uploaded & submitted via SARS eFiling the same day. However when checking it is still reflecting status as "correction filed" and no documents for review have been received. Why is this?
