TaxTim is a digital service that helps you complete your tax returns quickly and easily by answering simple, plain language questions (no tax jargon) one-by-one. If you’re a UCount Rewards member, you get a 25% discount on your tax return submission fee when you pay using your qualifying Standard Bank Debit, Cheque or Credit card. What are the benefits?

The benefits include a fast and efficient tax return to help you avoid penalties and maximise your chances of getting a tax refund from SARS. TaxTim can submit your tax return directly to SARS and is fully compatible with SARS eFiling.

How it works

Register Register by creating your user profile and start your journey.

  1. Login to your Standard Bank uCount Dashboard to find your TaxTim voucher code.
  2. Copy the TaxTim discount code.
  3. On any TaxTim payment page, click the "Use a voucher" button.
  4. Enter the discount code that you copied.
  5. Enjoy your 25% off discounted access to TaxTim. Pay the remaining fee by card / EFT.
  6. Answer a few simple questions online. TaxTim will use your answers to complete your tax return instantly and professionally, while making sure that you are claiming for all the deductions applicable to you and that your return meets SARS compliance regulations.
  7. Once completed, TaxTim will submit your tax return to SARS on your behalf with just one click.
